Sheep

We are pleased to welcome back the Sheep section at the Nantwich Show which has always been popular with over 200 entries from across the country.

We are keen that the new-look Nantwich Show is not only a great day out for farmers with animals to show, but also its an excellent learning day for non-agricultural visitors so we will have plenty of sheep owners on hand to talk about life as a sheep farmer. If you would like to be part of the scheduled talks, or give a demo about sheep handling or rearing, please email info@nantwichshow.org

The categories are:

  • “Best in Show” at the end
  • Downlands Breeds
  • British Natives
  • Continental
  • Valais Black Nose
  • Texel
  • Young Handlers (14yrs & under)
  • Butchers Choice (set of 3)

Each category will have five classes:

  • 2022 born lamb – tup or ewe
  • Shearling tup
  • Shearling ewe
  • 2 shear plus tup
  • 2 shear plus ewe
